Bachelorette Party Scavenger Hunt

Bachelorette Party Scavenger Hunt

A bachelorette party can be a great time to act silly with the girls, celebrating the upcoming wedding. Bachelorette parties are meant to be informal, light gatherings where the girls can cut loose before the bride walks down the aisle.

One great option to give the party a boost and make sure that everyone has a rocking good time is to create a bachelorette party treasure hunt, or scavenger hunt. If you are having a bachelorette party and need an activity that can last for hours of the night, allow for time to talk and drink together, and just have a good time, scavenger hunts are wonderful.

There are many options, but one that works best is a limo scavenger hunt, where you split the girls that are attending the party into two groups, each set in a limo. They are then given clues about items they have to find all around the city where the party is taking place. You can give each team a list with items they have to physically procure, such as a leaf off of a specific tree, a rock from a park, a business card from a particular restaurant, etc. Or, if you want to be even more creative, you can give the girls a list of landmarks, and they have to take a Polaroid picture of each landmark with one of the girls in the picture. This is a great way to play the game, because at the end of the night the bride - to - be gets to keep all the silly pictures for her scrapbook.

The Polaroid scavenger hunt can include local landmarks, restaurants that have particular significance to the girls at the party, or spots that are of meaning to the couple. It is a great thing to plan with the groom, as he can give tips like the name of the couple's favorite restaurant, the place they first kissed, or the sight of their first date. This will give the bride a special feeling as she realizes that the locations on the hunt are all places of meaning for her. You can even mark the landmarks ahead of time, with something like a ribbon in a bright pink color, or a plastic engagement ring at each location so the girls know they have found the right spot. If you aren't using the Polaroid method, you can have the girls physically collect the plastic rings. Just be sure to place them at their locations as close to the time of the party as possible, so that others don't abscond with your rings!

Including limos in the hunt is great because they can be stocked with drinks and snacks in the back, and the girls can have a " pre party " while they participate in the game. Limousines aren't as expensive as you would imagine, especially if all the girls attending the party chip in for the ride for a few hours of the night.

Your bachelorette party is sure to be memorable, especially if you give the winning team a great prize at the end of the night. Make sure, too, to buy a scrapbook to present to the bride for all those pictures. This type of bachelorette party gives the girls a lot of laughs, as well as a great amount of time to bond and work toward a common cause - finding all the locations and following clues!
